COVID-19: Update and Status of MSI program
In this time of public uncertainty and fear brought on by COVID-19, ISMP is still preparing to provide the best education to help you substantially enhance your effectiveness in meeting today’s medication safety challenges. However, circumstances could develop that would impact the program, such as government-imposed restrictions on congregations of large groups, suspension of meetings, or travel limitations on health care providers. We are, therefore, closely monitoring the situation, relying on the experts at the CDC and other agencies. We will communicate any impending impact to registrants immediately via email and updates will be posted here as needed.
If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, including but not limited to runny nose, coughing, sore throat, fever, or signs of upper respiratory infection, please consider not attending.
Please see our cancellation policies below:
If your employer or institution has prohibited you from traveling to the meeting, or you make the personal decision not to attend, we have extended our registration cancellation policy. All registration cancellations must be in writing to Nicole Powell at [email protected]. Cancellations received by April 23 are refunded less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds are made for cancellations received after April 23. If you plan to send someone else in your place, please notify ISMP prior to arrival.
In the event that ISMP must change the date or location of the program and a registrant is no longer able to attend as a result of the change, ISMP is responsible only for a refund of the registration fee and is not responsible for any airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by the registrant.
Hotel and Flight Cancellations:
ISMP is not responsible for any fees incurred due to hotel or flight cancellations. Please be aware when making travel reservations and check your hotel or airline’s refund policy.
