We are interested in learning more about the ongoing use of verbal orders for new medication orders by telephone or face-to-face (but not including order clarifications). Do you still receive verbal orders, given the significant increase in electronic prescribing? We’d like to know which drug classes you most commonly receive verbal orders for, and how often you have the opportunity to read back verbal orders (receive, transcribe, and read back, not just repeat back).
